Brightwell accredited to ISO 27001

Brightwell is pleased to announce accreditation to ISO 27001, a globally recognised standard for information security management systems.

The British Standards Institution (BSI) is a global standards organisation based in the UK, who provide accreditation and certification services, such as ISO 27001 for information security systems. This standard has also been officially certified by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), reinforcing our commitment to ensuring the highest standards of information security.

BSI’s assessor commented that “Brightwell’s certification is testament to the diligent care it takes with the security of both member information and corporate data.”

Brightwell’s Data Governance Officer, Dominic Hutchinson-Backer, stated that “Holding ISO 27001 is crucial because it sets a global standard for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an Information Security Management System. Our compliance with this ISO standard demonstrates our commitment to the safeguarding of sensitive information, maintaining our customers trust and meeting regulatory requirements”.

Brightwell CTO, Kevin Samborn, said “This accreditation is testament to our relentless pursuit of excellence in information security. It underscores our strategic focus on implementing robust technological measures, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and aligning our IT practices with global standards”.
