The Sourcing Lead will be responsible for leading the end-to-end supplier sourcing framework process within Brightwell. The purpose of the role is to understand and translate the benefit and technical specifications of the new Brightwell client pension scheme being onboarded into clear requirements and design decisions across critical pension administration service components such as calculations, workflows, communications and the member portal.

The primary function of this role is to support the Head of Pensions Finance & Payroll (HdPFP) in leading and managing the pensions Finance and Payroll team, which is responsible for the payment of members’ benefits, including ensuring the pensioner payroll is processed correctly and on time. The role incumbent will oversee the day-to-day Finance & Payroll activity in respect of Member Services’ clients. In addition, this role is responsible for ensuring the accurate recording, reconciling and reporting of the Scheme’s financial information.

Reporting into the Head of Planning & Reporting, this role is critical to make our administration function run smoothly and efficiently, balancing service performance requirements across both our member helpline and our back-office administration casework channels. Actively monitoring the live performance of the function allows our administrators to meet the daily demands of our members. You will need a keen eye for detail and feel comfortable in making decisions that involve balancing the business needs with those of our members.
