Elspeth joined us in 2026 and is responsible for legal, compliance, governance and secretariat.

Elspeth joined Brightwell from Bank of America, where she spent over 20 years in a range of senior legal and governance roles, most recently serving as EMEA Co-General Counsel and EMEA Head of Corporate Secretary. In that role, she led the bank’s EMEA legal function, overseeing around 160 legal professionals across multiple jurisdictions and supporting a full-service investment bank on a broad range of legal, regulatory and risk matters.
